# Enable or disable the reverse copy option for a subscription

Use the reverse copy option to change the trade side when copying positions from a master account to your investment account. Investors can enable or disable this option only for their copy-trading subscriptions.

When the **Reverse Copy** option is enabled, *sell* positions opened on a master account are copied as *buy* positions into the subscribed investment account, and *buy* positions opened on the master account are copied as *sell* positions.

When the **Reverse Copy** option is disabled, *sell* positions opened on a master account are copied as *sell* positions into the subscribed investment account, and *buy* positions opened on a master account are copied as *buy* positions.

To enable or disable the reverse copy option:

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
In the main menu, expand **B2COPY**, and then click **My Accounts** under the desired platform, if more than one is available.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Click the investment account in the list.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
In the account details, go to **Subscriptions**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Select the subscription.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
To enable or disable the reverse copy option, toggle the **Reverse Copy** switch located in the subscription row.

{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

Once the switch is toggled, the reverse copy option is instantly enabled or disabled. New positions will be copied from a master account to your investment account according to the applied settings.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.b2copy.b2broker.com/user-guide/manage-subscriptions/enable-or-disable-the-reverse-copy-option-for-a-subscription.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
