If you have several account groups created in your MT Manager, you can enable your clients to select one of those groups when creating their master and investment accounts in the Web UI.
The example below shows Step 1 of a master account creation procedure in the Web UI. At this step, a client can select if the account should belong to the group named Copy Master Raw-Spread or Copy Master Standard Account.
To enable the option to select account groups in the Web UI, you must create product groups of certain types, and then products in the Back Office.
To enable copy-trading accounts, create product groups of the following types:
B2COPY master account
B2COPY investor account
To enable MAM accounts, create product groups of the following types:
MAM master account
MAM investor account
To enable PAMM accounts, create product groups of the following types:
PAMM master account
PAMM investor account
For example, if you have the Standard and Pro account groups in your MT Manager and want to allow your clients to create copy-trading master and investment accounts in those groups, you must create four product groups in the Back Office:
the B2COPY master account group for Standard
the B2COPY master account group for Pro
the B2COPY investor account group for Standard
the B2COPY investor account group for Pro
Create a product group as follows:
Go to Products > Groups, and then click +Create in the upper-right page corner.
On the Create group page, fill in the following fields:
In the Type dropdown, select the group type.
For copy-trading accounts, select:
B2COPY master account – to enable copy-trading master accounts
B2COPY investor account – to enable copy-trading investment accounts
For MAMM accounts, select:
MAM master account – to enable MAM master accounts
MAM investor account – to enable MAM investment accounts
For PAMM accounts, select:
PAMM master account – to enable PAMM master accounts
PAMM investor account – to enable PAMM investment accounts
In the Caption field, enter the group name, for example, Copy Master Standard Account.
Make sure to assign meaningful names to product groups. The names are displayed in a list of account type options that clients can select when creating their accounts in the Web UI.
In the Description field, enter the product group description used in the Back Office.
Make sure that Enabled is selected in the Status dropdown.
Click Save to create the product group.
Repeat the steps of this instruction to create the required number of product groups.
For each created product group, create a product.
For example, if you created four product groups:
Copy Master Standard Account
Copy Master Pro Account
Copy Investor Standard Account
Copy Investor Pro Account
you must create four products as well (one product per each group).
Create a product as follows:
Go to Products > Products.
Click +Create in the upper-right page corner and select the platform in the dropdown.
In the Create product dialog box, fill in the following fields:
In the Platform Group dropdown, select one of the groups created in your MT Manager.
For MT5 only. Ensure the Use default volumes option is disabled for the selected group in your MT Manager.
In the Name field, enter the name that you want to use for the product in the Back Office.
In the Group dropdown, select an appropriate product group that you created in the Back Office, for example, Copy Master Standard Account.
In the Type dropdown, select Trade.
Click Save to create the product.
On the Edit product page, specify the following settings:
In the Status dropdown, select Enabled.
In the Caption field, enter a caption that you want to use for the product in the Back Office.
In the Leverage field, enter one or several leverage ratios that clients can select when creating accounts in the Web UI.
In the Default leverage field, enter a leverage ratio that will be offered as the default one.
In the Rights and Default account rights dropdowns, select product permissions. The same permissions should be selected in both fields.
The permissions that should be assigned to each product type are listed in the following table:
In the Max accounts field, enter an integer value to define the maximum number of accounts that clients can create when using this product. To set no limit on the number of accounts, specify -1.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Repeat the steps of this instruction to create the required number of products.
When creating master and investment accounts in the Web UI, clients can now select the groups in which they want to include them.
